No "Falando sobre música" de hoje, vamos ouvir um dos clássicos dos anos 60: The Twist do cantor Chubby Checker!

Chubby Checker é um canto norte americano que fez muito sucesso na década de 60 com essa múśica “The Twist” e também com a sua “continuação” da música, a famosa “Let’s Twist again”. Cantando no estilo R&B (Rhythm and blues), Chubby Checker conseguiu difundir outro estilo musical que é o que da nome à música: o Twist, uma dança típica da cultura norte-americana que mistura um pouco de Rock’n'Roll, Jazz e Blues.

Pra dizer a verdade não há muito o que se dizer dessa música, pois a letra é bem simples, mas o ritmo dela é muito contagiante e “alegre”.
